Public Engagement

Personally promote our campaign and encourage the public to take action at www.dontclearcutseattle.org.

Sign up for our advocacy team to help  engage and educate the public about Seattle’s rapid mature tree loss, the city’s current lack of protection, and why citizens need to put the pressure on city government to adopt stronger protections and ensure enforcement.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Leaflet or table at neighborhood events and farmer’s markets
  • Distribute leaflets and talk with people at large events
  • Bring awareness to our campaign at community or city meetings
  • Participate in demonstrations at hi-traffic locations, development sites, or city hall

  • Post photos, stories and engage in conversations on the Don’t Clearcut Seattle facebook page.
